NextGen Ministry at Quest Church

As one of Quest Church’s Missional focuses, Next Generation Ministries exist to reach all children, birth through High School, with the love of Jesus on an age appropriate level. We work together as a Next Generation staff to develop a wholistic ministry strategy that emphasizes the big picture of a kid’s life. Thus, our Kids ministry and Students ministry work hand in hand not independently. We believe this creates a ministry where kids are handed from one phase to the next smoothly and confidently.

We have an incredible staff of volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to pouring into the Next Generation. Every person who serves in our ministries has passed a criminal background check and has undergone Safe Sanctuaries training to ensure your children’s safety.

Kids Quest

KidsQuest is the children’s ministry of Quest Church and encompasses ages birth-fifth grade. As part of the Next Generation ministries of Quest, KidsQuest seeks to reach all children with the love of Jesus at an age appropriate level. We work hard to create environments that are relevant, fun and engaging so that kids will want to come back! KidsQuest is broken down into the following age groups (Click each for more information on that area):

All groups are available during both Sunday morning services. Both the K-3 and 4th-5th groups meet additionally on Sunday evenings from 4-6pm. This is a time where kids get the opportunity to put into practice the things they are learning on Sunday morning.

Your First Visit

If it’s your first time bringing your child(ren) to KidsQuest we are so excited to have you! When you come on our property the first building you see will be the main worship building. The next building is where KidsQuest is housed. Once you enter the building you will see a table on the right side of the lobby marked Start Here. Head to that table and one of our awesome volunteers will take great care of you!

Once you’ve come to KidsQuest one time your family will be in our database. From that point on you will check your kids in yourself using our check-in kiosks which are found on the left wall of the KidsQuest Lobby. Simply use your phone number on the touchscreen to bring up your family. A label will be printed for you and for your child. These labels have a unique code that matches you to your child. When you return to pick up your child a volunteer will verify that your label matches that of the one on your child as part of our security measures.

When you come to the Nursery at KidsQuest the first thing you will notice is that we have four different rooms dedicated to our youngest ones. They are labeled as follows:

  • Nursery 1 – 0-12 months
  • Nursery 2 – 1 year olds
  • Nursery 3 – 2 year olds
  • Nursery 4 – 0verflow

If it is your first time at KidsQuest one of our awesome volunteers at the Start Here table will help make sure your child is in the appropriate room.

Each of these rooms is staffed with incredible volunteers ready to love and nurture your child. We believe that children in this stage of life can learn a lot about God and His love, simply through the great love of the people in their lives. We want to be an extension of the love your child is already receiving at home as we help to make Jesus’ love easy to understand and accept. Beginning in Nursery 4, we use the Orange Curriculum “First Look” to teach our 2 year olds about Jesus on their level. You can check out Orange here.

Our Pre-K ministry in KidsQuest consists of children ages 3, 4, and 5. Children move up upon beginning Kindergarten. Pre-k kids are given the opportunity to interact with the story of the Bible through songs, prayers, games and crafts. We seek to engage these curious youngsters in an adventure through the stories of the Bible. As with all our ministries we strive to create a fun environment that will make kids excited to come back!

Our K-3 ministry is for kids in Kindergarten through third grades. Kids in our K-3 ministry get to experience a time where they can learn about themselves and God through age-level worship, Bible stories, crafts, and more. Our K-3 ministry operates on Orange’s 252 Basics Curriculum which you can check out here. We have incredible volunteers in this environment who will interact with your kids, love on them, and help them to understand how much God loves them!

Our 4th-5th ministry is for all kids in 4th and 5th grades, also known as Tweens. We seek to engage kids at this phase with the stories of the Bible in an even more active and practical way. Continuing to use the Orange 252 Basics Curriculum, we begin helping kids put their faith into action through missions and service opportunities. Our incredible volunteers also spend time with small groups of kids, building relationships with them and helping them to understand how valued they are.

Ignite Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry, called Ignite, exists to see students’ hearts ignited with the love of Jesus Christ. We work to do this through engaging speaking, small groups, trips, hangout times, events, missions projects and much more. We have an awesome group of volunteers who show up every week to pour their lives into students. For more information on students check out our webpage at
