Week 5
Colossians 2:16-23

1. Are there areas of your life where you find yourself thinking, “If I do enough of this, God will be happier with me”? What tends to trigger that mindset?
2. Consider these three contrasts Pastor John mentioned: rules vs. relationship, earning vs. responding, living right to become His vs. living right because we are already His. Which one speaks strongest to you right now, and why?
3. If you genuinely believed this week that you are already accepted and belong to God because of Christ, what might change about the way you pray, obey, handle failure, or interact with others?
4. What is one “shadow” or “rule” you need to stop trusting in so that you can more fully trust and enjoy Jesus Himself?

Week 4
Colossians 2:6-15

1. Have you ever considered Jesus as Lord? Would others say they SEE this in your behavior?
2. What does your obedience need to look like?3. What gets the biggest trophy in your life right now? What can you do this week to choose Jesus FIRST and make Him Lord of your life?

Week 3
Colossians 1:24-2:5

1. What does it mean to you that Jesus has reconciled you to God and now presents you as holy, without blemish and free from accusation?
2. Where are you most tempted to drift away from the hope of the gospel?
3. How does the phrase “Christ in you, the hope of glory” change the way you approach your everyday life?
4. Paul was willing to struggle and sacrifice to help others grow in their faith. Who is God asking you to encourage or invest in
5. What is one practical step you can take this week to continue growing toward maturity in Christ?

Week 2
Colossians 1:15-23

1. How can you fight to stand firm this week?
2. Do you think you have been focused more on the fruit or roots?
3. Do you feel like you are drifting away from Jesus? If yes, how can you see Jesus more clearly this week? If no, is there someone you can help see Jesus this week?
4. If Jesus is supreme over everything, then He is sufficient for everything. What do you need to ask Him to be sufficient in for you right now?
