We believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our church, local community, and across the world.
We believe that everyone has a place at Quest and we would be honored to serve with you! We want to help you find a place where your strengths and talents best fit. Take a moment to review the opportunities below.
In the Church:
Our desire is that each person who enters our doors for worship feels like a GUEST in our HOME. We want to make people feel welcome and want to return. Ways that you can volunteer with our hospitality teams:
- Parking Lot
- First Time Guest Table
Sunday Morning Logistics:
There are so many behind the scenes things that happen each Sunday morning to make the worship experience the best it can be. We are always looking for people to help in these areas:
- Set Up/Clean Up
- Band: Auditions held.
- Serving Communion
- Prayer Team
We believe that we are called to be a church that passes down our faith to the Next Generation. This is why we believe that volunteering in this area is so important to our mission and vision. There are opportunities for different age groups as well as different times on Sundays.
Sunday Mornings (9am and 11am)
- 4th and 5th
Sunday Evenings (4-6pm)
- 4th and 5th
- Students (6th-12th)
If you are interested in any of these areas, we would love to invite you to First Serve. This takes place on the first Sunday of every month at all services. First Serve is a great way to try out a volunteer position that you are interested in serving in. Simply sign up and then you will shadow a seasoned volunteer to see if this is the volunteer position you would like to do!
For Next Generation, you will need to arrive 10 minutes AFTER the service has started (9:10am, 10:40am, or 11:10am). Come into the Kids Lobby and a volunteer will greet you there.
For Hospitality, you will need to arrive 30 minutes BEFORE the service has started (8:30am, 10:00am, or 11:30). Meet us in the main Lobby! You can sign up for the next First Serve HERE.
In the Community:
Local Missions exists to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the local community. Various volunteer experiences are available throughout the year.
Missions is at the heart of Quest. We believe in them so much that we have agreed to give a minimum10% of our income to local and global missions. Every year, we give to 10-12 organizations in our community.
We are able to serve locally through the following areas:
- Military Missions
- Kids Helping Kids Ministry
- Christmas Outreach
- Second Saturdays
We want to be able to serve our community around us consistently and intentionally. This is why we have chosen to serve in various ways every Second Saturday for 2017. Each month, there will be different organizations and ministries to partner with in the Grovetown community. You can register for our next Second Saturday HERE.
In the World:
Global Missions exists to create a long-term relationship with people in Belize. We partner with a nonprofit organization called A Better Belize and our missionaries Joey and Heather Barrs.
